Eaton Fire Relief 2025
Birthed as a Community Nonprofit of East and Northeast Los Angeles during the Covid Pandemic, we once again are asking that those who have resources to spare would share with those who have lost everything in the fire.
The Eaton Fire is an active wildfire burning in the Altadena area of Los Angeles County in Southern California. It began in the evening on January 7, 2025, in Eaton Canyon in the San Gabriel Mountains. As of now, more than 100,000 residents were under evacuation orders and nearly another 100,000 under evacuation warnings.
We distributed over $60k in grants to folks hurting from job loss in service industries in 2020-2021 and hope to have even more impact with the recent disaster affecting many of our neighbors.
Low and moderate income families and individuals (100% AMI household gross income which equals ~$131,000 and lower) can apply for a grant that is hoped to be in the range of $1,000 to $5,000 as long as funds come in, and is meant to help bridge the gap of expenses before FEMA and insurance kicks in. Speed is of the essence to make the most impact.

We are a nonprofit with the goal of disrupting the inequalities and injustices of the current era through building nonprofit programs, initiatives, and partnerships that actively overcome, thwart, or replace the systems, patterns, or beliefs.
Our desire is to be innovators, an incubator & accelerator, a legal and financial home, for experimenting and attempting to build something powerful without having to start from scratch. These initiatives are being started in house and in partnership agreements with individuals and organizations in our community.
